Please use the way2call test application to verify that your PC Computer Headset to Phone Adapter - Dual 3.5mm to 2.5mm is working fine. It can be downloaded from www.way2call.com >>> developers

Hi,
Right now, I'm using a Y splitter cable, 2.5mm male to a speaker and mic female 3.5mm Y splitter. Still can't produce any sound using the sample program(C++) or the diagnostic app. I'll attach the driver information and the audio and voice settings from control panel. http://images.syedhusain.net/way2call/HD00PRGR01_driverInfo.txt |

I don't think so,...
Try the 3.5mm (Mic and speaker) to 2.5mm Headset cable converter

Ah, 1 more thing. The Y adapter is a generic splitter. Is it doable?

The Hi-Phone Desktop Pro 2.5mm headset connector has Ground, Single Mic in and Single Speaker out. It seems like the 2.5mm to 3.5mm and the splitter combination that you are using doesnâ?Tt perform the required conversion. I suspect that the Y splitter that you are using probably designed for a Stereo to Mono Mic. And not for headset splitter. I have never tried it, but I think that this combination would work (See link to Amazon) http://www.amazon.com/Headset-Buddy-Adapter-Smartphone-Blackberry/dp/B00331S5FK/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1279627766&sr=8-4 |

HS2. Basically it's a 2.5mm jack (HS2) to a 3.5mm. Then a Y adapter that takes a single 3.5mm jack and splits it to dual 3.5mm jacks.

Which of the headset jack are you using (HS1 or HS2)? What kind of splitter are you using? |

Hi,
I've acquired a Hi-Phone Desktop Pro. 019731 (HD00PRGR01) F/V:10.03.23 I've a question about the audio/voice. I've plugged a splitter to the headset jack in the modem. The splitter then connected to a speaker and microphone and I set up the TAPI to use headset (via Way2Call TAPI setup) . Also, I've change the PC default audio and voice devices to Hi-Phone desktop pro. Is this a valid setup? I tried to test the setup using Way2Call Test Wizard. I tested the headset but the app stop at "please plug in the headset" eventhough in the Test log I can see "Headset no. 2 in". If I skip the step and try the recording and playback, I can't hear any sound. Please advice.
