Key press while ringing?

This might sound silly but is it possible to detect a key press before the call is answered? As expected it doesn�?Tt work but I�?Tm not sure if this is hardware or software limitation. My application activates if nobody answers after so many rings but it would be a nice feature to be able to press a key to instruct it to cut in immediately. Is this possible???
