Hi-Phone USB no MWI in Win764

Have been using w2c with Homeseer for years.  Recently, I switched from XP to Win7 64 bit. 
All is working fine, except for the message light.  In XP, with the single mode driver, all is fine.  I can turn the light on and off by issuing 
&hsp.HIPSetCallWaitingLED(1,False)

But on my Win7 machine with the newer w2c drivers, nothing.
Same versions of HS on both machines, so it must be the drivers.

Does anyone have a fix?
