Hi,

I am currently developing a Voice Comms System within Delphi and one of its main features is the ability to dial out from the Delphi application over a phone line to an external phone. Having done some initial investigation, I believe I require a modem that will act as a sound card on the PC so that I can handle the output from the application (app->modem->phone line) and the input to the application (phone line->modem->app).

Having read the FAQs and looked at the list of products, the Hi-Phone Desktop USB looks as though it would suit my requirements (the SDK being an added bonus).

Can anyone advise if the above 'sounds' possible? If any more information is required then please ask away.

Thanks,

big C

The Hi-Phone Desktop USB is a telephony device and has 3 wave devices, and can be used as a sound card.
Once installed, you can see it at Control panel >>> audio and voice tabs (sound and audio devices (Sound playback and Sound recording)
