    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.way2call.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=47">Andy</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 40<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> Oct 27 2009 at 12:09pm<br /><br />I have been "accessing" the PC remotely, through "Rmt Desktop".&nbsp; However, accessing it through "Rmt Desktop" should not be an issue.<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>The system is not a VM machine.&nbsp; I't a basic Dell destop with a fresh XP Pro install, to SP3.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>The Hi-Phone modem is connected directly to the PC&nbsp;where i'm installing the drivers.&nbsp; I am NOT installing the drivers on PC "A" and then pluging the Hi-Phones USB connection in an second PC "B" and expecting that to work.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I will go and install it DIRECTLY from the PCs directly attached monitor and and directly attached&nbsp; keyboard.&nbsp; With the network cable unpluged. It can't get much more local than that.</DIV>]]>

ExData 0x0000, TID: 0x0FE0<BR>&nbsp;10&nbsp;15:58:21:312&nbsp;&#091;4060&#093; » Dev#0 Coutry Code: 1<BR>&nbsp;11&nbsp;15:58:21:343&nbsp;&#091;4060&#093; » Dev#0 Open Completed.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Note: the Wave Out/In?Aux values....</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>In the&nbsp;Control Panel/Sounds and Audio devices I'm not seeing the "hi-Phone Desktop USB" device under the "Audio" tab.&nbsp; the only device listed there is "'Microsoft RDP Audio Driver'" which shows up in the above log as the Wave Out Name....</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Services: the "Telephony" and "WIndows Audio" services are both running.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I did the original install from the CD which came with the mode.&nbsp; </DIV><DIV>I've also installed the 2.00.95 (download) version.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I've tried rebooting the system...</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I also tried disabling the standard "modem" and "USB Audio Devices' from under Device manager and then reinstalled the Hi-phone drive.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Still, no go.&nbsp; At least for dialing out, playing tones, etc.&nbsp; The modem does see an incoming call if I call it up, I can answer the call, but it does not pulse out tones. </DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I tested making a call with the Hi-Phone teset utility, it also failed...</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>What should I try next?</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Thanks,</DIV><DIV>Andy&nbsp;</DIV>]]>
