I want to develop a program to call & then play .wav file in java for RS232 device.

I tried running w2HpJApplet but it gives error saying:

Open error code -20

Open hiphone failed.

I did all as given on its .doc file. What can be problem? Or, how can I achieve my mission?

I appreciate any help.

Try to use the Hi-Phone Desktop USB, The Hi-Phone Desktop RS232 doesnt support direct sound
